Everything a food safety system
is supposed to do.

The full Codex study, the programmes beneath it, and the records around it — connected end to end, so nothing is retyped and nothing slips by.

What's inside

A connected system, not a stack of spreadsheets

Each part feeds the next, so you enter information once and it flows through the whole study.

CCP Decision Tree — Bake step · Salmonella survival Q1 — Do preventive control measures exist at this step? Yes No Q2 — Is the step designed to reduce the hazard to a safe level? Yes No ⛊ This step is a CRITICAL CONTROL POINT for this hazard. Risk matrix L→ 3 6 9 2 4 6 1 2 3 Likelihood × Severity gives a score 1–9. At or above the threshold (red) the hazard is suggested as significant. The threshold is configurable in Settings.

The complete HACCP study, every Codex step in order

Map your process, analyse the hazards, and let the system carry your decisions through to a finished plan.

  • Flow diagrams — drag-and-drop process steps, colour-coded and validated.
  • Hazard analysis with the official Codex decision tree and a configurable risk matrix.
  • CCPs & critical limits defined once and reused everywhere.
  • A HACCP plan that assembles itself — versioned, with approval sign-off and revisions.
  • Validation, verification & review kept separate, the way Principle 6 expects.

Monitoring that acts on its own

Day-to-day records that don't just sit there — the moment something's out of range, the system responds.

  • Temperature logs checked against each CCP's limits as you enter them.
  • Out-of-range readings raise a corrective action automatically — nothing slips by.
  • Corrective actions & non-conformances tracked to closure with auto references.
  • Internal audits with scored checklists and pass-rate trends.

The whole shift on one page

Opening checks, every fridge and freezer, deliveries, cooking and closing — in the order a shift actually runs, on a tablet by the back door.

  • A temperature grid — every unit, morning and afternoon, on one screen. A reading out of range raises a corrective action by itself.
  • Deliveries recorded as they arrive — the supplier’s batch code, product temperature, van and packaging. Reject one and a supplier non-conformance is raised for you.
  • Cooking and cooling checked against your limits — staff enter the readings; the system knows the numbers.
  • Weekly and monthly cleaning on their own tabs, so nothing slides.
  • Working to Safer Food, Better Business? The Daily Diary gives you the opening, closing and sign-off record an inspector asks to see.

Trace any batch in minutes, not afternoons

When a supplier recalls a batch, you need to know which of your products it went into and who you sold them to. HACCPdb answers both on one screen.

  • One step back, one step forward — from a supplier’s batch code through your own batches to every customer who received them, and back again.
  • Gaps are shown, never hidden. If a batch didn’t record where an ingredient came from, it’s listed as possibly affected rather than quietly left out.
  • Mock recalls kept as evidence — time the trace, record the outcome, and keep the trace exactly as it was found on the day.
  • A printable trace report to hand to a customer’s technical team.

Allergens worked out, not remembered

Build each dish from what goes into it and the allergen declaration follows — through sauces, fillings and anything else made in your kitchen.

  • Ingredients, items made here and bought-in products kept distinct, so every allergen has a clear source.
  • Update one ingredient when its recipe changes, and every dish containing it updates too.
  • Cross-contact recorded separately, for risks that come from how food is handled rather than what’s in it.
  • An allergen matrix and recipe specifications, printed and ready for the file.

Your plan, assembled and signed off

The study you build becomes the very document your auditor asks for — generated from your own records, never retyped.

  • A HACCP plan that assembles itself from your flow, hazards and CCPs.
  • Approval sign-off and versioned revisions built in.
  • Print-ready A4 output — hand it over as a PDF.
  • Document control with a versioned register — upload your SOPs, or write them in HACCPdb and print controlled copies.
  • A complete printable audit file — temperature, production, delivery and dispatch registers, the allergen matrix and recall records, each with a review and sign-off block.
